The Amazing Criswell, born Jeron Criswell King, was a flamboyant American psychic and entertainer known for his wild and often outlandish predictions. Famous in the 1950s and ’60s, Criswell made bold prophecies about everything from political events to the end of the world—many of which never came true but gained him a cult following. He’s perhaps best remembered for his role in Ed Wood’s Plan 9 from Outer Space, where his eccentric persona added to the film’s quirky charm.
