Everybody loves the happy, warm and fuzzy feelings of their youth. Everybody longs for the simpler times of days gone by. Nostalgia means reliving and reflecting on your past — those family vacations, the childhood friends, the movies you saw, the TV shows you watched, the music you listened to, and the many current events of the day.
And being a graphic designer, I decided to bring back the long forgotten culture of the 60s, 70s, 80s, and more by illustrating them on a wearable medium — the nostalgia T-shirt (and in some cases the sweatshirt and hoodie).
I started BLVDdesign.store in early 2021 when I got myself a digital drawing tablet — never used one of these in my life. Started doodling with it and I eventually illustrated things I remember as a kid. I did a few designs and printed them on T-shirts for friends and family members. The shirts received rave reviews. So, I started this website as a document/portfolio of my doodles but presented them on shirts. I’ll continue to upload these doodles of a time gone by — lets pay tribute to the good ol’ days!
